Our clinic provides Total Healthcare PHO services affiliated to the ProCare PHO organisation.

We offer an extensive number of primary health services, ranging from traditional general practice care to the management of urgent medical problems and accidents. The cost of primary healthcare for New Zealand citizens or those eligible for funding are subsidised to varying levels by the Government. To access these subsidies, you are required to enrol with White Cross Glenfield General Practice.

Appointments for GP consultations are 15 minutes. If you have complex or multiple problems to discuss with the doctor, an extended consultation (30 minutes) should be booked and an extra fee will apply.

Our practice nurses can provide and assist patients with coaching and monitoring in a number of programmes including:

  • health education
  • child health
  • childhood immunisations
  • travel vaccinations
  • asthma education
  • diabetes education
  • weight management
  • cervical smears.

Immigration medicals

If you are applying for a student visa, NZ work permit or NZ visitors permit, you need a medical and x-ray certificate obtained from an approved panel physician.

White Cross has been providing immigration medicals to immigrants seeking work and student, visitor and resident visas since 2001. We know the requirements and procedures better than others.
